This page is dedicated to all things Palestinian folk music, songs ("Ganawiyat") and chants (Muhaha/"hahawiyat"). Our goal is to preserve the songs of our grandmothers and build upon this beautiful tradition. Every month we will release a "ghanawiya" or "hahawi" written in Palestinian Arabic, transliterated Arabic (English letters), and translated English.
